By purchasing from Yelnats Build Electrek, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. No Warranty Provided
YBE does not provide any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, for any product sold—this includes e-bike batteries, bike kits, individual components, or custom-built bikes. All products are sold as-is. If a product carries a manufacturer warranty, that warranty is passed through directly to the buyer. All warranty claims must be made directly with the product’s manufacturer.

2. Pass-Through Warranty (If Applicable)
Some items may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. In those cases, YBE assumes no responsibility for enforcement, processing, or validation of those claims. Warranty information (if available) will be provided upon request.

3. Proper Storage Requirements
Lithium batteries must be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Ideal storage temperature: 10°C–25°C (50°F–77°F). Improper storage may cause fire, explosion, degradation, or void any warranty.

4. Assumption of Risk
Purchasing and using products from YBE means you accept all associated risks, including personal injury, property damage, or legal violations. High-speed riding, improper installation, and use beyond specified limits increase these risks.

5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall YBE be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of any product, including but not limited to bodily harm, property damage, or economic loss.

6. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YBE, its members, managers, and employees from and against any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses—including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs—arising out of or related to:

(a) the customer’s use, misuse, or possession of any product;
(b) any modifications or improper installation;
(c) failure to comply with laws; and
(d) any injury or property damage caused by a product sold by YBE.

7. Installation & Modification
YBE is not responsible for any custom-built bikes, customer modifications, or the installation of YBE parts or kits on stock or modified bikes. All such modifications are performed at the customer’s sole discretion and risk. YBE does not guarantee safety, performance, or legal compliance of modified products.

8. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws regarding the use, registration, and transport of e-bikes and battery components, including local and federal regulations on lithium battery shipping.

9. Battery Recycling & Disposal
All batteries must be recycled or disposed of per local regulations. Do not place batteries in regular trash. Improper disposal can result in environmental hazards or legal consequences.

10. Incorporation of Website Terms
This agreement is subject to the full Yelnats Build Electrek, LLC Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. The customer acknowledges they have had a meaningful opportunity to review these terms at www.yelnatsbuildselectrek.com/terms and expressly intends to be bound by them.

11. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing from Yelnats Build Electrek, LLC, you agree to all terms above. If you do not accept these terms, do not purchase, install, or use any product.
